When you engage with Loving Paws Pet Sitting for services, including pet sitting, dog walking, pet boarding, pet transportation, or pet supply pick-up, you enter into a formal agreement. The terms and conditions of that agreement are set forth below, covering your responsibilities, our obligations, and any liabilities. Our website provides information regarding our services, but bookings and payment arrangements must be made directly with us.
- Service Fees and Payment
- All fees for services are agreed upon before the service start date and confirmed via a written or electronic agreement.
- A deposit may be required to secure the booking, with the remaining balance due before or on the service start date.
- Loving Paws Pet Sitting accepts payments through [cash/venmo/zelle].
- Failure to make the required payment by the start of services may result in cancellation of the service, at our discretion.
- Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the service start date to receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
- Cancellations made within 48-72 hours of the start date will result in 50% of the service fee being retained.
- Cancellations made on the service start date are non-refundable.
- Pet Health and Safety
- The Client certifies that their pet(s) are in good health, up to date on vaccinations, and free of any contagious diseases.
- The Client must provide detailed information regarding any known allergies, special needs, or medical conditions affecting their pet(s).
- In the event of an emergency, Loving Paws Pet Sitting will make every reasonable effort to contact the Client. If the Client cannot be reached, the pet sitter is authorized to seek veterinary care, with all related expenses being the responsibility of the Client.
- Liability
- Loving Paws Pet Sitting will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of your pets. However, the Client acknowledges that Loving Paws is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or damages caused by or to the pet(s) during the service period, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by Loving Paws staff.
- The Client agrees to be liable for any injuries or damages caused by their pet(s) to Loving Paws staff, third parties, or property.
- Access to Property (If Applicable)
- The Client agrees to provide Loving Paws Pet Sitting with necessary access to their property during the agreed-upon service dates and times.
- The Client must ensure that all entry points to the property are secure and accessible to the pet sitter. If access is denied for any reason, the Client may still be responsible for the full service fee.
- Keys and Security (If Applicable)
- If the Client provides Loving Paws Pet Sitting with keys to their property, these will be securely stored and returned at the end of the service period.
- Loving Paws Pet Sitting will not share keys or access information with third parties without the Client’s consent in formal writing.
- Termination of Services
- Either party may terminate the service agreement at any time with written notice. In the event of termination, the Client is responsible for payment for services rendered up to the termination date.
- If the Client terminates the service while it is in progress, the Client is responsible for 50% of the remaining uncompleted services.
- Emergencies and Veterinary Care
- In the case of an emergency where the pet’s health or safety is at risk, Loving Paws Pet Sitting will make every attempt to contact the Client or their designated emergency contact.
- If immediate veterinary care is necessary, Loving Paws is authorized to seek medical attention for the pet(s), and the Client agrees to cover all related expenses.
- Pet Aggression or Dangerous Behavior
- The Client must disclose any history of aggression, biting, or dangerous behavior of their pet(s).
- If a pet is determined to pose a risk to the safety of others, Loving Paws Pet Sitting reserves the right to terminate the service immediately. The Client will be responsible for payment up to that point.
- Website Usage
While our website provides detailed information about our services, it is for informational purposes only. Bookings and payments are not processed through our website. All bookings must be made through direct communication with Loving Paws Pet Sitting.
